We motored across from the Villaine river to Houat in light winds for an overnight at anchor. After a drink ashore we returned to pack up the dinghy and eat aboard before a good night's sleep. Morning departure at 08:30, heading SW (225°) for 321.8NM passing Belle-Ile. Sunny days and winds 15-30kts from NE to ENE. Fast sail down in 41 hours average speed 7.7kts Max 15.2kts.
Departed La Roche-Bernard at 10:30 for 11:00 lock at Arzal. Then motored out of the Villaine and across to anchor at Treac'h Salus on Houat.
Very pleaseant evening. Bit of a chilly wind picked up overnight, perfectly positioned for sunset and heading to NW Spain!
Up anchor 08:30 wind f4 NE-NNE. One reef in main plus stay sail. Sunny day after being seen off by dolphins, sailed all the way.
